October’s Interfaith Story Circle
Theme: Fair and Equal
7PM Tuesday, October 24, 2023
Clearwater Friends meet at Baywood Shores Clubhouse 596 Baywood Drive, Dunedin, FL (behind the Sheriff’s Office near the Dunedin Causeway)
The Interfaith Story Circle (ISC) is an outgrowth of the United Faiths Walk of Peace which began in Dunedin in 2016. Its purpose is to promote peace, justice, and mutual respect by bringing faith communities together for fellowship, dialogue, and increased knowledge of each other’s faith beliefs.
Following the featured speakers, attendees will break into groups to share stories and get to know each other better. Stories may be personal experiences, from your faith, or traditional tales. Come and share your story related to this month’s theme, or just come and listen. Either way, you will be warmly welcomed. The heart-to-heart process of storytelling and story listening fosters an appreciation for the commonality of human experience and builds community.
Our October program features Katie Green, Quaker Storyteller and Brandt Robinson, Dunedin High School Teacher.
